Reporting to the AVP, Insurance Experience, the Director Market Delivery has accountabilities for all individual insurance initiatives that require marketing or sales support.
This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining the 12-month rolling view of all marketing initiatives to be delivered, identify project interdependencies, sequencing, and risks to provide a coordinated and transparent view of our roadmap to senior leadership and report on the effective of initiatives to help achieve our strategic priorities.
What you will do:
- This role will ensure alignment among initiative stakeholders, assist with initiative oversight and planning process, sequencing, intake processes for all marketing, learning and development and operational tactics which speak to individual insurance products.
- Proactive risk identification and support for issues that could impact the successful execution of initiatives. This responsibility involves elevating those issues and framing/positioning ideas to resolve the problem/mitigate the risk.
- Lead Steering Committee discussions, informing senior leaders on updates to roadmap, alignment of recommended initiatives to strategic priorities, identify risks or conflicts and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives to deliver on our strategic priorities.
- Develop and continuously improve project coordination, prioritization, sequencing, approval escalations and risks reporting processes to provide a coordinated and transparent view of key project activities and outcomes.
What you will bring:
- 5-10 years managing medium-to-large initiatives varying in complexity, methodologies, or
- Ability to bring diverse partners and stakeholders together to solve challenges and get things done. Communicate and manage change and adjust plans as needed.
- Specialized expertise in project management, planning or strategic operations.
- Understand and tap into external and internal resources to understand how to navigate and add value in a complex environment, to learn fast and unlearn what is not working, and to engage others at a deeper level.
- Ability to develop highly effective long-term plans in line with the company’s strategic objectives; highly adept at setting goals and determining priorities and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Strong knowledge in product/service development/delivery with an entrepreneurial approach to achieving results.
- Highly developed interpersonal, collaborative and leadership skills.
Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London, Montreal, Toronto, or Winnipeg.

The base salary for this position is between $89,800 - $166,300 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
