Responsibilities:
  1. Operational Oversight:
    Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.
    Oversee all aspects of the production process, from raw material procurement to final product delivery.
    Implement and maintain best practices in production, safety, and environmental compliance.
  2. Process Optimization:
    Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and increase yield.
    Utilize lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize operations.
    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to address any variances.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    Ensure all products meet or exceed customer specifications and quality standards.
    Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes and procedures.
    Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively.
  4. Team Leadership and Development:
    Lead and manage a team of supervisors, technicians, and production workers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
    Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing operations team.
    Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to employees.
  5. Safety and Compliance:
    Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
    Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  6. Resource Management:
    Manage resources effectively, including raw materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize production efficiency.
    Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.
    Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to track operational performance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements and optimize production operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and ERP systems is a plus
