General Manager

- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments.
- Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
- Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
- Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain inventory levels and quality of ingredients.
- At least 2 years in a senior or general manager role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to recruit, mentor, and retain talent, ensuring high team morale and productivity.
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers and promote special events or new menu items.
- Strong understanding of online platforms for restaurant marketing and reservations.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to address staff and customer issues effectively.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if experience is extensive.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations, including resolving operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Proven track record of adapting to changing market trends and implementing new initiatives to improve business performance.
