Could you be the full-time onsite Chief of Operations in Thunder Bay, ON, CA we’re looking for?
Your future roleTake on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive operations management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll ensure the seamless physical delivery of our trains, encompassing all aspects of overhaul, modernization, and upgrades, with a focus on quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Supply Chain, Industrialization, Production, Quality, Test & Commissioning), coordinate assembly line setups and manage the improvement action plan for industrial QCD targets, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:- Ensuring the assembly line set up,
- Coordinating Supply Chain, Industrialization, Production, Quality, Test & Commissioning for the train delivery site in relation with industrial quality,
- Ensuring Design for Operations (DfO) aspects are addressed in development phase,
- Ensuring smooth operational execution, agility and responsiveness, Managing the improvement action plan to achieve industrial QCD targets,
- Monitoring, controlling and preparing sub-systems physical delivery for the final production line to maintain the alignment with the industrial planning,
- Developing the Project Industrial Management Plan (IMP) in line with project objectives and other project plans,
- Ensuring the readiness of industrial, methods, supply chain, production activities, means and deliverables to successfully pass the gate reviews.

- At least 15 to 20 years of experience in industrial operations and train overhaul/modernization/upgrades including 3 years at project or site management level,
- Extensive industrial, Overhaul, train upgrades/modernization, supply chain, and Alstom product knowledge and project/company background,
- Proven experience in managing industrial QCD targets (Quality, Cost, Delivery),
- Resilience and adaptability to manage operational and technical challenges.
