We're looking for a Chief Operations Officer to lead our train delivery team in Thunder Bay, ON, CA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless physical delivery of our trains, encompassing all aspects of overhaul, modernization, and upgrades, with a focus on quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring the assembly line setup and coordinating with Supply Chain, Industrialization, Production, Quality, and Test & Commissioning teams to ensure industrial quality.
  2. Coordinating Supply Chain, Industrialization, Production, Quality, and Test & Commissioning for the train delivery site in relation with industrial quality.
  3. Ensuring Design for Operations (DfO) aspects are addressed in the development phase.
  4. Ensuring smooth operational execution, agility, and responsiveness, managing the improvement action plan to achieve industrial QCD targets.
  5. Monitoring, controlling, and preparing sub-systems physical delivery for the final production line to maintain alignment with the industrial planning.
  6. Developing the Project Industrial Management Plan (IMP) in line with project objectives and other project plans.
  7. Ensuring the readiness of industrial methods, supply chain, production activities, means, and deliverables to successfully pass the gate reviews.

We're looking for someone with at least 15 to 20 years of experience in industrial operations and train overhaul/modernization/upgrades, including 3 years at project or site management level. You should have extensive industrial, overhaul, train upgrades/modernization, supply chain, and Alstom product knowledge and project/company background. Proven experience in managing industrial QCD targets (Quality, Cost, Delivery) is also essential. Resilience and adaptability to manage operational and technical challenges are a must.
