Reporting to the Vice President, People & Culture, the People and Culture Manager will be the cornerstone for organizational effectiveness. You will work closely with Rohit’s leaders, to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence. Rohit is seeking a dynamic and courageous People and Culture Manager to join their team, someone who is ready to dig in, understand operational challenges, and partner with regional leadership to build strong, engaged teams that embody the entrepreneurial spirit.
The mission includes leading transformation efforts by implementing innovative solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness. Partnering with regional leaders, the manager will build strong relationships, provide strategic HR guidance while championing the company’s entrepreneurial culture. Responsibilities also encompass overseeing talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent, addressing complex employee relations issues with a balanced approach, and advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives. Additionally, leading change management efforts to guide the organization through evolving landscapes will be a key component of the role.

Corporate Strategy
Contribute to the corporate strategy by ensuring HR alignment with organizational goals.
Support the development and execution of strategic people & culture initiatives by contributing and leading HR corporate projects.
Drive operational strategy focused on enhancing community engagement and site operations.
Immerse in operational processes to understand unique challenges and opportunities within construction and land acquisition.
Lead transformation efforts by identifying areas for improvement and working with leadership to implement innovative solutions.
Facilitate the implementation of strategic plans, including workforce development, onboarding, performance management, and learning and development.
Engage with on-site staff and site superintendents to bridge the gap between office and field, ensuring effective communication and connection.
Support the implementation of the new HRIS system (UKG), working alongside the VP, People and Culture.
Provide leadership in performance management, compensation, and employee development.
Implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent, and lead initiatives for continuous learning and professional growth.
Site Engagement and Communication
Maintain a presence on-site at least one day per week to foster relationships and understand field operations.
Build connections with field staff sharing insights with the divisional EVP’s to enhance strategic effectiveness.
Partner with leaders across the region, building strong relationships and providing strategic HR guidance.
Culture and Change Management
Promote and enhance the company’s entrepreneurial and bold culture, ensuring it permeates all levels of the organization.
Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring a welcoming and respectful workplace for all employees.
Lead change management efforts, guiding the organization through transformation ensuring seamless adoption of new processes and practices.
Develop the operational strategy, systems, and processes that empower your client groups to handle day-to-day HR issues independently, while relying on your expertise for more complex HR challenges.

Post-secondary education in business or human resources is preferred with experience in lieu being considered.
CPHR professional designation is an asset.

Minimum of 5 years experience with 8-10 years in people & culture being ideal.
Experience in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that is evolving and transforming would be an asset.
Experience or understanding in the construction or land acquisition industry is highly desirable.
