We are seeking a Business Development Account Manager (MGA+) to join our team in Alberta. As a Group Benefits Managing General Agent (MGA+), you will work in partnership with advisors and insurance carriers to provide full back-office support and services in all aspects of group benefits.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales and service professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in group benefits sales and/or service, with a keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a broad understanding of carrier and solution advantages and disadvantages, and communicate them effectively to advisors.
- Triage and resolve incoming requests, engaging the right resources and processes as needed to provide exceptional customer experience.
- Become a trusted liaison between customers and operational teams.
- 3+ years of experience in group benefits sales and/or service, carrier or advisor side.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with relationship-building top of mind to build trust and credibility.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal and external clients.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- A competitive compensation package, estimated at $80,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
