The role:

Reporting to the Director, People, the Senior Manager, People Partnerships  will lead a team of People & Planning Managers (HRBPs) and collaborate closely with senior leadership and department heads to implement People initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention. You will be passionate about building strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, aligning People initiatives with business objectives, and driving key People programs that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee performance as we continue to scale.

As the Senior Manager, People Partnerships , you will:

Lead and mentor a team of People and Planning Managers, providing guidance and support in executing People strategies and initiatives. Collaborate closely with senior leaders and business unit heads to understand their needs and challenges, and develop People solutions that drive business success. Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement talent management strategies, including workforce planning, performance management, and employee development. Understand Jobber’s People strategy and utilize it to drive performance through existing people programs and the development and delivery of new people solutions.  Provide expert advice and guidance on complex People issues, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Drive change management initiatives and organizational development efforts to foster a high-performance culture. Lead People projects and programs aimed at enhancing employee engagement, and performance across the organization. Analyze People metrics and data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Stay connected to the tech sector by providing insights and advice on a rapidly changing competitive landscape. 

To be successful, you should have:

Proven experience in People business partnering or People team leadership roles, preferably in a fast-growing tech organization Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and launch new programs company-wide. Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs into People initiatives and solutions. Solid understanding of industry best practices, employment laws, and employee relations. Experience in change management, organizational development, and talent management. Resilient and persistent in the face of challenges, with the ability to bring innovation to your everyday work.
