Reporting to the President & CEO, the successful candidate will be accountable for a spectrum of activities associated with the student life cycle and student success at Northern. They will have strategic oversight of and significant accountability for activities that directly impact financial viability, program quality, organizational integrity, government compliance and associated funding, reputation, and student/client experience.

What you will be doing:
• Provide leadership and strategic direction in the development, enhancement, and ongoing management of college-wide systems, processes, and services that support admissions, registration, fee collection, record keeping, enrolment management, audit, and credential production for all programming as well as student success initiatives and services;
• Provide direction and supervision for Campus Managers with oversight of services including, but not limited to, Advising, Financial Aid, and Student Services, as well as provide direct supervision and leadership for Institutional Research and Registrar staff college-wide;
• Interpret, plan, organize, and communicate results from institutional research and reporting that stimulate and strengthen the college’s decision-making, problem-solving, and planning processes;
• Manage the entire enrolment audit cycle to ensure that the College is maximizing all opportunities for enhancing student enrolment;
• Implement and apply Ministry policies, practices, and procedures pertaining to Registrarial functions, services, and systems; and
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and business plans of the College, as well as plan, develop, and implement strategic plans for departments they provide direct supervision to.

What you will need to be considered:
Masters Degree in Statistics, Research, Education, Business or relevant/ related field;
Nine (9) years of experience in a leadership position that consisted of strategic planning, problem-solving and people management;
Knowledge of and experience in a post-secondary education environment;
Ability to establish and sustain collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve organizational goals;
Experience with statistical, spreadsheet, word processing and database software;
Experience with research and data analysis;
Valid driver’s license to travel between campus as required.
