Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager, People will play a vital role in molding our organizational culture through adept support of diverse HR functions.

As Sanctuary AI's Manager, People, you will work with leaders and their teams directly to define and implement people strategies that are aligned with business plans. The Manager, People will be accountable for developing and implementing a leading practice across the organization related to all aspects of Human Resources policy and practice, such as performance development and succession planning, leadership/management development, acquiring and on-boarding top talent, total rewards, and colleague engagement.

Our Success Criteria
  • As an experienced HR Professional, use sound judgment supported by human resource acumen and practical experience to lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for the organization.
  • Support the delivery and deployment of HR and cross-functional programs and processes by fostering and maintaining strong internal relationships with key business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Align HR strategic objectives with the business strategies to add value to the organization, leading through complex situations that arise from broad internal or external issues.
  • Lead annual programs including compensation and performance management; roll out people initiatives to the business groups and provide guidance for change management initiatives.
  • Oversee and ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance requirements, with a special focus on employment laws and workplace standards.
  • Play a leadership role to recognize barriers to success and facilitate proactive solutions that support a performance driven culture with a focus on talent management, coaching and mentoring others on talent reviews, performance management, succession planning, and build a talent pipeline for high potential colleagues.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for internal business; facilitate workgroups, training sessions, and meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes and efficiency.


Your Experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in HR leadership
  • Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
  • Prior experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) (e.g. BambooHR), project management systems (e.g. Jira), and applicant tracking systems (e.g. Lever)


Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with cross functional team project management
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve complex operational challenges
  • Above all else, a consistently positive attitude and a willingness to do whatever it takes to create robust solutions to mission objectives
