La division SupportPro de Duravant exige que tous les techniciens de service terrain se rendent sur les sites des clients afin d’effectuer les services complets de gestion du cycle de vie des équipements. Voici les tâches que vous effectuerez en tant que Technicien de service terrain :

· Les techniciens de service terrain effectuent des appels de service en personne sur les sites des clients afin de fournir des services d’installation, de mise en service, de réparation d’urgence, de support technique, de maintenance préventive, d’audits, de mise à niveau et de formation.

· Les techniciens de service terrain effectuent des modifications mécaniques et électriques, incluant les programmes d’automate programmables et la configuration des servomoteurs.

· Les techniciens de service terrain font des rencontres sur site avec les contacts clients pour donner les explications sur la portée du travail et le travail effectué.

· Démanteler les machines pour remise en état/modernisation ou déménagement.

· Effectuer des tests de contrôle de la qualité sur les équipements réparés, au besoin.

· Atteindre les objectifs de prestation de services, notamment le temps de réponse, la résolution dès la première intervention et le taux de satisfaction des clients.

· Participer à des formations croisées et à des équipes interfonctionnelles avec d’autres sociétés opérationnelles de Duravant.

COMPÉTENCES SPÉCIFIQUES d’un technicien de service terrain : Si vous avez une de ces qualifications, veuillez postuler.

· Connaissances approfondies et expérience confirmée en matière de composantes mécaniques, hydrauliques, électriques et pneumatiques.

· Capacité à interpréter des informations techniques complexes impliquant la mécanique et l’électronique, incluant les schémas électriques et la documentation d’ingénierie mécanique.

· Connaissance, dépannage et modification d’automates AB CompactLogix et de divers autres automates.

· Programmation et dépannage d’interface humain-machine (IHM) AB PanelView et divers autre IMH.

· Configuration et programmation des paramètres de variateurs de vitesse (VFD).

· Compréhension approfondie et configuration des systèmes de servomoteurs.

· Expérience en robotique et en application de robots industriels, un atout.

· Capacité analytique avérée pour résoudre des problèmes techniques et non techniques, résoudre les problèmes et déterminer les causes profondes.

EXIGENCES DU POSTE DE TECHNICIEN DE SERVICE TERRAIN

· Diplôme collégial (DEC) en génie mécanique est souhaité

· Un diplôme en ingénierie électrique, en technologie du génie électronique, en génie électrique et informatique ou en électronique industrielle est un atout

· Solide expérience en mécanique et en électrique requise

· Solide compréhension en programmation d’automates requise

· Doit posséder un permis de conduire valide, un passeport valide et un bon dossier de conduite.

· Expérience et capacité à voyager beaucoup (jusqu’à 80 à 90% du temps), y compris des nuitées si nécessaire et certaines fins de semaine pendant la semaine loin de chez soi. Des déplacement internationaux pourraient être nécessaire à l’occasion.

As a Field Service Technician, you will:

· Field Service Technicians conduct field service calls at customer sites to provide installation, commissioning, emergency repair, technical support, preventive maintenance, audits, retrofits and training services

· Field Service Technicians perform mechanical and electrical modifications including PLC programs and servo drive configuration

· Field Service Technicians conduct site visit meetings with customer contacts to include explanation of job scope and work completed

· Dismantle machines for refurbishment or relocation

· Perform quality control tests on repaired equipment, as needed

· Achieve service delivery goals including response time, first time fix and customer satisfaction rates

· Participate in cross-training and cross-functional teams with other Duravant operating companies

Field Service Technician's SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: If you hold any of these qualifications please apply.

· Proven, High degree of knowledge and experience of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic components

· Ability to interpret complex technical information involving mechanics and electronics, including schematics and mechanical engineering documentation

· AB CompactLogix and various other PLCs knowledge, troubleshooting, and modifications.

· AB PanelView and various types of HMI programming and troubleshooting

· Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) parameter configuration and programming

· Depth-full understanding of Servo drive motor systems and configuration

· Experience with robotics and industrial robot application beneficial

· Proven analytical ability to troubleshoot technical and nontechnical issues, solve problems and determine root causes

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· College degree (DEC) in mechanical engineering is desired

· A degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering technology, electrical and computer engineering or industrial electronics is an asset

· Strong mechanical and electrical background required

· Solid understanding and programming of PLCs required

· Must have a valid driver's license, a valid passport, and a good driving record.

· Experience and ability to travel extensively, up to 80 to 90%, including overnights as necessary and some weekends throughout the week away from home. International travel may be required occasionally.
