Our client is looking for a Junior Financial Coordinator to initiate purchase requisitions, review financial information, process invoices in SAP, and update excel report for a 4-month contract. Possible for extension. Hybrid position in Greater Vancouver.

Requirements:
  1. 1 year experience with SAP Financials
  2. Experience with MS applications - Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Outlook, Teams
  3. Understanding of project lifecycle
Responsibilities:
  1. Initiate Purchase Requisitions – gather info from PMs, review the vendor Statement of Work for completeness.
  2. Process invoices in SAP – review for completeness, add project coding, enter in SAP, route for approvals.
  3. Review Business Cases – confirm that the financial information in multiple tables in the business case all align.
  4. Prepare documents for approval – prepare routing page and collating documents in PDF and upload to SharePoint.
  5. Route documents for approval – circulate to multiple BC Hydro staff and following-up.
  6. Update Excel Report – request PMs to update monthly Excel report, and confirm that it is complete. Other financial tasks will be assigned.
