About The Position

Waterworth is a leading Software-as-a-Service provider specializing in financial forecasting solutions. We are seeking junior and intermediate Financial Analysts to enhance our Customer Success (CS) team and contribute to our clients' achievements. The ideal candidate is proficient with numerical data and accounting principles, enjoys leveraging data to create impactful narratives, and has a proven track record of fostering productive professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Consultation: Our mission is to guide the communities we serve towards financial sustainability. This role involves collaborating with City Managers, Public Works Directors, and CFOs to define the strategic path for their community and facilitate actions to reach these objectives.
  2. Client Relationship Development: To maintain alignment with the strategic vision, it is essential that our clients find value in your interactions, building both respect and trust over time. You will cultivate these relationships with senior city officials, aiming to deepen and broaden these connections.
  3. Financial Model Development: Your responsibilities will include constructing, calibrating, and presenting financial models to our clients. This necessitates a strong foundation in accounting principles, attention to detail in data analysis, and effective presentation skills to communicate findings.
  4. Enhancing Customer Value: A genuine commitment to customer experience is vital. You will strive to exceed client expectations in every interaction, whether it be through the clarity of communication, the presentation of models, or the planning of work schedules, always prioritizing client needs to deliver maximum value.

Training Program

The Training Program encompasses the domains of municipal governance, financial management, software applications, and Customer Success. Each area will require the development of distinct skills, with evaluations conducted throughout the training period to ensure our clients receive the high level of service they anticipate.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range

Compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.

Base Salary

CA$60,000/yr - CA$90,000/yr
