Join BellTV's Wireline Video Network team in a dynamic role that bridges technical expertise and program management. As a Network Technical Product Owner, you'll lead complex projects across cutting-edge video networks and our cloud computing infrastructure. Manage end-to-end delivery, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in network solutions. This role offers opportunities to work with leading technologies and shape the future of television and our TV services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery on a national scale. This includes managing network infrastructure changes and upgrades across our infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, project managers, and senior management to drive progress, remove obstacles, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Develop detailed solutions to complex problems, considering technical requirements, timelines, and costs. Proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow-up. Ensure adherence to best practices and emerging technologies in network infrastructure.
Critical Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, routing protocols, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a demonstrated dedication to customer focus and delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience in project management preferred, with a track record of successfully managing complex technical projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong technical background with excellent knowledge of Service Provider systems and networks.
  • Strong understanding of Video Networks, PIM, IGMP, Multicast etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Candidates of industry recognized technical certifications/designations will be preferred such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE), & SAFe Agile Certifications.
Additional Requirements

Regular work hours with potential for off-normal hours to support network outages. Rotation for 24/7 support may be required.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.

Additional Information:

For work arrangements that are ‘Hybrid’, successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week. Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, Bell offers flexibility in work hours based on the business needs.
