Job Title: Technical Writer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team at IPG Photonics Canada Inc. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation for our hardware and software components. This includes product manuals, user guides, and technical reports. You will work closely with our product design, software, and applications engineers to ensure that our documentation accurately reflects the functionality and capabilities of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain product documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and application notes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in our documentation.
  • Develop and implement documentation standards and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on documentation processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
