Director – Business Development

Jalco Industries Inc.

We are looking for an experienced business development professional, with intimate knowledge of the welding fabrication sector, to join our leadership team. Reporting to the President, and as a contributing member of the Strategic Planning Team, the Director, Business Development is responsible to generate new business opportunities while creating greater exposure for incremental sales and increased revenues. We’re experts in supplying pipe spooling and custom fabrication solutions for the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) energy sector, and we’re growing. In this leadership role, you’ll have autonomy in defining and delivering the strategies and tactics focused on:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and acquiring new clients.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and forge strategic partnerships with key industry players to enhance Jalco’s market presence.
  • Market Expansion: Explore new markets and business channels to expand Jalco's footprint.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to inform decision-making.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the business development budget.

Qualifications:

  • Senior business development professional with 4 - 5 years proven experience.
  • Intimate domain knowledge of welding fabrication for the O&G and industrial sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of key industry players: O&G producers, EPC firms, and equipment fabricators in WCSB
  • Ability to conceptualize, develop and implement “turn-key” product and service offerings to position Jalco as a solution provider.
