- Develop the quality management plan for the site and for the manufacturers of equipment related to the project;
- Implement the quality plan and procedures (tools, models, processes, policies);
- Ensure that technical requirements and quality requirements are followed during the duration of the project by implementing quality assurance and quality monitoring;
- Maintain continuous communication with the team responsible for the site, equipment manufacturers and contractors;
- Analyze quality trends and reports;
- Produce quality reports;
- Carry out quality audits with the various managers;
- Identify, initiate and follow-up on requests for corrective actions and notices of non-conformities on site and from manufacturers;
- Work closely with the Document Controller to prepare documentation transfers to the team responsible of the site.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- College Diploma in electrical engineering, civil engineering or other related discipline
- 5 to 7 years of experience in the field of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) on construction projects (industrial, infrastructure or others)
- Good knowledge of the quality management system and requirements (e.g. ISO 9001:2015)
- Experience in construction management is an asset
- Certification in quality management and/or quality audit is an asset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team
