Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Ganotec, a full-service, heavy industrial contractor serving the industrial sector across Canada.
Job Summary:The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet the highest quality standards, while also ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that all construction projects meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with construction supervisors, schedulers, and planners to ensure that quality control objectives are aligned with construction procedures.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all construction projects meet quality standards.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Develop and implement quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all materials and equipment meet quality standards.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any quality control issues.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quality Manager in industrial sectors.
- Proven background as a QA/QC Inspector in large scope projects.
- Significant years of experience managing a team of several quality inspectors.
- Passion for safety, with the ability to help ensure that nobody gets hurt.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.
- Fluency in French is required.
- Functional knowledge of English (written and verbal) is considered an asset.
