You will oversee the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our technical products in the areas of our post purchase fulfillment process from order placement to pick up or delivering to the customer.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Design, Contact Centre, Operations, Digital, and Merchandising to create innovative solutions that drive improved customer satisfaction, speed to market, and Omni-channel business growth.

The Order Pick and Delivery team’s mission is to ensure an easy and fast in-store pick up and home delivery experience that exceeds customers' and the store's expectations. To drive this mission, the successful candidate will:

  • Participate in quarterly PI Planning by managing your backlog and ensuring we plan the work ahead.
  • Take ownership of your product backlog, from item tracking and JIRA story prioritization to overseeing development and testing.
  • Assess the ROI for each enhancement in the product backlog to make informed decisions on prioritization.
  • Engage with Dealer Working Groups in meetings to gather requirements and secure alignment on necessary initiatives.
  • Act as the main point of contact for IT squad members, providing clarity on requirements and driving user stories forward while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

What you bring

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Possess a sound understanding of process in one or more of the following business areas: Fulfillment, Order Management, Store Operations, or eCommerce.
  • Strong storytelling (written and verbal) and analytical skills to help drive strategy and decision making.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant business, retail, or process experience in a fast-paced environment, which includes 2+ years of experience managing medium to large, complex projects using a disciplined approach to project or product management.
  • Proactive problem solver with a passion for process improvement and the ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, providing valuable insights and recommendations in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent relationship builder, adept at collaborating and aligning with diverse stakeholders across functions.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects with changing priorities while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proficient user of standard desktop tools including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working experience in Agile teams using agile methodologies is an asset.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Tire family of companies and/or store environments is an asset.
