As a Manager, Learning Programs & Strategy your responsibilities will include:

  • Have a strong internal consulting focus, acting as a thought leader and advocate for the development and delivery of industry-leading learning solutions that will enable our business units and service lines to achieve their strategic goals.
  • Assess current performance gaps and learning needs, and collaborate with other learning professionals to implement creative, industry-leading learning solutions.
  • Provide value-added professional advice to business partners for enhancing business results and employee effectiveness through learning.
  • Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of learning solutions.
  • Occasionally develop methods and materials for learning interventions including, but not limited to, ILT, workshops, conferences, e-Learning and job aids as needed.
  • Apply professional experience and judgment in the planning and accomplishment of projects, initiatives and professional goals.
  • Manage learning design and delivery to meet timelines and budgets.

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Manager, Learning Programs & Strategy? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:

  • Completed post-secondary education, professional certification or equivalent experience in training and development / instructional design – CTDP Designation would be an asset.
  • 7+ years’ experience in adult learning or management/performance consulting.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build relationships with and influence individuals from all areas, role levels and functions in the firm.
  • Have strong consultative skills, are very creative and agile, and possess excellent SME and stakeholder interviewing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering best-in-class on-line/e-learning courses and in-person development solutions.
  • Have solid knowledge and experience of course development software, such as Articulate/Storyline and at least one Learning Management System.
  • Have strengths in working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Have experience in basic project management and client relationship management.
  • Can share samples of your work during the interview process, if requested.
  • May have additional assets such as experience with graphic media tools, video, animation/motion graphics and simulations; background in/knowledge of Accounting practices; certifications/experience in Design Thinking, Change Management, Project Management, Lean/Six Sigma.
