Our client is currently looking for a Real Estate Assistant. This firm has an excellent culture and a lot of career development opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide legal administrative support within a busy practice;
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence;
- Professionally interact with all firm members and clients;
- Manage calendar and schedule meetings;
- Book travel and make reservations, as required;
- Keep track of closing dates and bring-forward system;
- Assist with dockets and billing;
- Open / close / maintain legal files and contracts;
- Assist with any other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Legal Assistant Diploma;
- 5+ years’ experience working within the real estate practice area in a law firm;
- Commercial real estate experience will be considered an asset;
- Proficiency using Teraview and Conveyancer is an asset;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills;
- Driven and willing to learn.
