About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Manager to join our team at CT Real Estate. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the development of retail stores across Central Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and select suitable sites for new retail stores, negotiating real estate transactions to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for market and site selection, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet annual store development targets, providing expert guidance on real estate matters.
  • Coordinate with store operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Negotiate lease agreements and final documents, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Work closely with external legal counsel to review and finalize legal documentation.
  • Coordinate with construction teams to ensure proper due diligence on landlord work.
  • Collaborate with CTREL Real Estate Operations on renewals and store replacements.
  • Partner with market analysis and finance teams to prepare cost-benefit analyses.
  • Present projects to senior executives at the Real Estate Committee.
  • Travel across Central Canada to meet with stakeholders and conduct site visits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in real estate management or a related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior executives.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, able to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong negotiation and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and maintain professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated and flexible, with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license, with a willingness to travel.
