At CIBC, we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Therefore, details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed during your interview .

How You’ll Succeed

  • Technical and Process Content Development and Improvement – Provide senior-level expertise and practical capability in the design, organization, creation, and ongoing management of online content for EDF, the SDLC methodologies, and other supporting materials to support the technology delivery community at CIBC.
  • Content Platform Stewardship – Design and deliver an appropriate structure and accompanying use guidelines for the content platform (assumed to be SharePoint Online), enabling consistent content types, simplified content management, standardization of metadata and search criteria, form-based parameter specification, and publication process automation. Consider ways in which other elements of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents) could be leveraged to optimize the maintenance of the platform and to improve the user experience.
  • Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement – Perform regular analysis and reporting of site and page utilization, augmented by user input (via surveys, focus-groups, journey mapping, etc.) to assess effectiveness of site and content design and to drive priority of improvements and adjustments or to identify key issues and investigate feasibility of potential solutions. Conduct industry and business research, assessment, and insight development, as required, to support these activities.
  • Consulting – Provide advice, consultative expertise, and procedural collateral to other members of the team regarding writing style, structure of content, and platform administration. Provide support to the team through proofreading, rewriting, or editing of draft content. Engage with delivery partners, as required, to facilitate translation, publication, promotion/marketing, and alignment of messaging.
  • Relationship Building – Work across multiple communication areas at CIBC, seeking valuable sharing of practice and insight, process innovation and improvement opportunities, and alternative channels of customer engagement and input.
