CS Content Management Specialist

How You'll Make an Impact:
Position Overview

The CS Content Management Specialist, Bilingual works under the direction of the Team Manager, Project Analysis and Communications.

This individual is responsible to maintaining, sourcing, organizing, creating, and improving French and English content to allow Client Service employees to access high quality information quickly and easily.


A key objective of the role is to ensure cross-divisional alignment of content around all policies and procedures that affect the operational capabilities of the division.

This role has oversight responsibilities for the CS knowledge base site which is the primary repository for all information related to transaction and call processing.

Key Accountabilities

Content management

  • Work with the lines of business to ensure resource content of high quality, up to date and accessible (i.e. content access requirements)
  • Maintain existing and new content (i.e. Content lifecycle management)
  • Design visual layout and article structure to serve individual department needs
  • Restructure content to be visually appealing
  • Enhance search efficiency and capabilities to make access to information quick and easy
  • Transition content to new knowledge base platform
  • Translation of content
  • Seek out opportunities to provide content to external clients to facilitate self service
Streamline processes for updating and sourcing new content.

  • Provide innovative ways to optimize our processes to be efficient and cost effective
  • Coordinate edit / publish procedure manuals and provide consultation with business unit, as required
  • Perform mentor function for content feedback channel
Represent CS content management on divisional initiatives requiring content updates and content sourcing.

  • Project management and relationship building to work collaboratively with multiple business units, including:
  • Compliance
  • Translation
  • Social Media
  • Digital marketing
Support internal CS Communications team as required.

  • Support CS Management team in efforts to provide counsel, strategy and writing support, as required

What We Are Looking For:
Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in a content management function, ideally within the financial services industry (or equivalent) (required)
Education

  • University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or relevant field (required) or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) in English and French (required)

  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce Knowledge but is not required
  • Strong English and French communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Solid understanding of the financial services industry
  • Good command of English and French financial services terminology
