This role provides first and second-level support for IT production systems, with a focus on maintaining system stability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and process execution. Responsibilities include responding to production calls, troubleshooting hardware issues, supporting deployments, QA testing, and performing preventative maintenance. Additionally, the position involves handling admin processes on the Service Desk, managing incident tickets, and supporting IT projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting production issues
  • Supporting hardware (printers, scan guns, PCs) and applications
  • Monitoring systems and infrastructure
  • Providing 2nd-level support and managing escalations
  • QA testing and deployment of new systems
  • Documenting processes and managing access requests


Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related experience
  • 2+ years of IT Help Desk experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux, Windows, Android, and networking
  • Strong troubleshooting and project management skills
  • Experience with industrial programming, network devices (Cisco), ITIL principles, and Event Management tools (e.g., Tivoli, Splunk)
  • Willingness to work overtime, travel, and handle shift rotations
