We seek a dynamic e-commerce focused Partner Sales Manager to join our sales team and help fuel our growth.
Job Summary:
The Partner Sales Manager will be a central figure in developing and nurturing strategic partnerships that enhance Trellis' market penetration and reach in ecommerce. This role involves identifying potential partner opportunities, negotiating agreements, and fostering relationships that lead to mutual growth and success. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the e-commerce industry along with an impressive track record in sales and partnership management and quota attainment.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners to expand Trellis' sales channels and market reach.
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations.
- Collaborate with partners to develop co-marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between partner strategies and Trellis' business objectives.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the success of partnership initiatives.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance partners' product knowledge and sales capabilities.
- Lead negotiations of partnership agreements, working collaboratively with legal and financial teams.
- Coordinate with the product development team to integrate feedback from partners and clients to enhance product offerings.
- Represent Trellis at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and foster partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales or partnership management, in the e-commerce industry.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Hubspot CRM software.
- Comprehensive understanding of the industry landscape, including competitors and market trends.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to nurture partner relationships and attend relevant events.
