We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our mission to provide better health and best in health care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to identify patient needs and goals, and develop evidence-based treatment plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Implement interventions in accordance with established treatment guidelines, and educate patients and caregivers on self-management, health promotion, and injury/disability prevention.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure seamless quality patient care, and participate in maintaining a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient progress, changes to treatment plans, and record test/treatment results to provide evidence and rationale that support assessment findings and intervention plans.
- Participate in approved physical therapy and interprofessional research, special projects, and committees to enhance and optimize the delivery of care and facilitate evidence-based practice.
- Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
- Knowledge of physiotherapy theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, caregivers, rehabilitation assistants, and members of the interprofessional care team.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others, and establish workload priorities and adjust to unexpected events.
