About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our mission to provide better health and best in health care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to identify patient needs and goals, and develop evidence-based treatment plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  2. Implement interventions in accordance with established treatment guidelines, and educate patients and caregivers on self-management, health promotion, and injury/disability prevention.
  3. Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure seamless quality patient care, and participate in maintaining a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff.
  4. Document patient progress, changes to treatment plans, and record test/treatment results to provide evidence and rationale that support assessment findings and intervention plans.
  5. Participate in approved physical therapy and interprofessional research, special projects, and committees to enhance and optimize the delivery of care and facilitate evidence-based practice.
Requirements
  • Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, caregivers, rehabilitation assistants, and members of the interprofessional care team.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others, and establish workload priorities and adjust to unexpected events.
