Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Fraser Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech language pathology services to patients in accordance with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to improve patients' communication and swallowing function
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to provide patient-centered care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
- Provide education and consultation to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
- Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC)
- Knowledge of speech language pathology theory and practice within a patient-centered model of care
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
