About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our mission to provide better health and best in health care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessment and Treatment Planning

You will conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical status, functional abilities, needs, and goals, and develop evidence-based treatment plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Physiotherapy Interventions

You will implement physiotherapy interventions in accordance with established treatment guidelines, educate patients and caregivers on self-management, health promotion, and injury/disability prevention, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.

Interprofessional Collaboration

You will participate in interprofessional care planning, collaborate with patients and their families/caregivers, and establish a therapeutic relationship by demonstrating empathy, trust, and respect.

Documentation and Quality Improvement

You will maintain accurate and comprehensive records, compile statistics on workload activities, and summarize information into written reports as requested.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

You must have current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).

Skills and Abilities

You must possess knowledge of physiotherapy theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care, ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals, and ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
