Key Responsibilities- Provide physiotherapy services to patients in accordance with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC) standards of practice and Fraser Health's mission and values.
- Assess patients' physical status, functional abilities, needs, and goals, and develop evidence-based treatment plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Implement interventions in accordance with established treatment guidelines and educate patients and caregivers on self-management, health promotion, and injury/disability prevention.
- Participate in interprofessional care planning and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless quality patient care.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with patients and their families/caregivers, demonstrating empathy, trust, and respect.
- Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
- Knowledge of physiotherapy theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
