Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)/Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) follow established care plans under supervision to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to clients and their families. Ensuring the emotional and physical well-being and safety of clients is a top priority, in alignment with Bayshore policies and nursing standards. LPNs/RPNs also engage in continuous training and provide guidance to support staff involved in client care, catering to both English and French-speaking communities.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed/Registered Practical Nursing Program; current registration with the provincial licensing body
- Valid CPR certification
- Preferred clinical certificates and postgraduate courses
- Minimum of two years of recent experience (consideration for new grads on an individual basis)
- Access to reliable transportation or a valid driver's license with a dependable vehicle
- Clear police record and ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Screening if needed
