About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to coordinate and supervise the operation of community-based mental health services programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of comprehensive services to clients with mental health disorders across the lifespan.

The Team Lead will provide clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team, including ongoing and extensive clinical supervision to new clinicians and those with little experience in this specialty. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to facilitate internal referrals and ensure continuity of patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy, and be licensed with the applicable body. They will also have three years' experience in Mental Health and Addictions intervention, and be able to provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention to clients.

The Team Lead will be responsible for identifying areas for service improvement and facilitating quality initiatives, as well as drafting Standard Operating Procedures and other guidelines for care. They will also provide clinical leadership and supervision to the multi-disciplinary team, and ensure that all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed with the applicable body
  • Three years' experience in Mental Health and Addictions intervention
  • Ability to provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention to clients
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate internal referrals and ensure continuity of patient care
  • Ability to identify areas for service improvement and facilitate quality initiatives

Hours

This is a long assignment full-time position, with 75 hours biweekly. Travel to various sites may be required.
