Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automated Gate and Access Control Technician to join our team at Ventri Door Technologies. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing automated gates and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Service Repair Work: Perform installation and service repair work on automated gates and access control systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical knowledge and skills to diagnose and repair complex issues with automated gates and access control systems.
  • Customer Service: Foster and maintain positive working relationships with our valued customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory on company service vehicles to ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are available to complete service calls.
  • Communication: Remain in contact with the Service Administrator throughout the day, and respond to emergency calls as needed.
  • Teamwork: Work efficiently in small teams to complete daily tasks and assignments, and assist Project Managers with other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience with installation and/or service of automatic door systems.
  • Skills: Electromechanical repair skills are considered an asset, and welding experience is preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must have a valid G Class driver's license.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong communication and analytical skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness and ability to work on a rotating on-call schedule when required.
