Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automated Gate and Access Control Technician to join our team at Ventri Door Technologies. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing automated gates and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Service Repair Work: Perform installation and service repair work on automated gates and access control systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical knowledge and skills to diagnose and repair complex issues with automated gates and access control systems.
  • Customer Service: Foster and maintain positive working relationships with our valued customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory on company service vehicles to ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are available to complete service calls.
  • Communication: Remain in contact with the Service Administrator throughout the day, and respond to emergency calls in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience with installation and/or service of automatic door systems.
  • Electromechanical Repair Skills: Strong electromechanical repair skills are considered an asset.
  • Welding Experience: Welding experience is preferred.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid G Class driver's license.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Strong communication and analytical skills are required.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability: Willing and able to work on a rotating on-call schedule when required.
