About the role

Partner Solutions Inc. (PSI), which operates across Canada, was founded in 2000 with the goal of simplifying technology for brokerage firms and thereby allowing them to focus on sales and the profitability. Today, PSI has more than 50 technology professionals ranging from technical specialties (infrastructure, security, software development), support and customer experience specialists to administrative resources. Working within a dynamic team, the person will be called upon to play a strategic role in the expansion, deployment, architecture, automation and optimization of a Cloud environment, and to ensure the availability and high performance of various business applications.

What you'll do:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (and Azure if possible) platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
  • System Administration: Perform Linux and windows system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to track the performance and availability of cloud resources. Optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure cost-efficiency and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and Linux systems. Provide support for incident management and root cause analysis.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.

What you need:

  • 3-5 years experience in a Cloud Administrator role.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services.
  • Strong knowledge of access and authentication services: IAM, IdP, SAML, RBAC, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git systems: GitLab.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting and automation tools: Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell.
  • AWS certifications are highly desired.
  • Experience with Azure is highly recommended.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and Microsoft 365 is an asset.
  • Experience in a hybrid cloud environment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.).
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Provide technical support to clients using cloud product interfaces, solutions, and application programs (APIs).
  • Availability for on-call support (rotation).
  • Bilingualism (French / English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
