Position: Senior AI/ML Software Engineer

This is a remote contract-to-hire position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take the lead as the first in-house engineer within our product team.
  • Collaborate with our leadership to influence the development of our cutting-edge product.
  • As we finalize our product's proof of concept, your expertise will be crucial in advancing our strategic roadmap.
  • Foster a culture of product engineering and guide the formation of a future engineering team.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, emphasizing curiosity and problem-solving.
Required Expertise:
  • Azure: Proficient in Azure Machine Learning services, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • LLM APIs: Experience with large language model APIs and their integration into applications (Langchain/LlamaIndex).
  • Machine Learning: Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and frameworks (PyTorch, HuggingFace).
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years in AI/ML engineering with a successful history of deploying AI applications on Azure, particularly using LLM APIs for Generative AI.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in data management, including preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation, along with knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in API integration, particularly in creating and consuming RESTful APIs and connecting LLM-based services with other systems.
  • Knowledge of automation tools, including the creation and management of bots in Automation Anywhere.
  • Front-end development experience, including wireframing and UI/UX processes.
  • Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) and digital workers.
Educational Background:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline, with relevant Azure certifications being advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding or experience in the hospitality sector, particularly within the restaurant industry or hospitality technology.
Additional Information:
  • This role is fully remote, with occasional in-person collaboration sessions expected.
