Position: Infrastructure Reliability Engineer

Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week at our office.
We are in search of a highly proficient Infrastructure Reliability Engineer with extensive design experience to join our forward-thinking team.
In this role, you will be tasked with the design, implementation, and maintenance of resilient infrastructure, automation processes, and practices, emphasizing sustainability and dependability.
Your contributions will be vital in coaching and guiding team members to enhance their expertise in DevOps methodologies, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Automation:
Develop and implement automation solutions for provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes. Provide mentorship on automation techniques and best practices. - Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes. Offer guidance on CI/CD pipeline design and optimization. - Monitoring and Alerting:
Establish robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address system issues and performance bottlenecks. Configure monitoring tools to gather metrics, logs, and traces for analysis and troubleshooting. - Capacity Planning and Performance Optimization:
Conduct capacity planning exercises to forecast resource needs and scale infrastructure accordingly. Enhance system performance through tuning and load testing. - Documentation:
Generate comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices.
We seek candidates with proven experience in an Infrastructure Reliability Engineer role, focusing on infrastructure design and reliability engineering. Proficiency in architecting and building ephemeral environments using public Cloud Platforms (preferably GCP) is essential.
Additionally, candidates should possess:
- Strong scripting and programming skills (BASH/Python).
- A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and release management practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for troubleshooting complex technical challenges.
