Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed project management plans, considering commercial, technical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, using defined change management processes.
  • Coordinate the activities of interdisciplinary project team members, ensuring timely and effective communication on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and maintain a comprehensive and accurate project documentation.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including internal and external stakeholders, and communicate project status effectively.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary engineering or technical degree.
  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience managing and/or leading complex technical projects.
  • Project Management Certification, such as PMP or CSM (Agile), is an asset.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong working knowledge of MS products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Ability to learn new tools and techniques, and grasp unfamiliar technical concepts quickly.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Superior organizational skills, including ability to identify and track dependencies, and structure efficient stakeholder meetings.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently apply expert judgment with available information, and propose solutions and recommendations.
