Project Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Project Redirect Inc Of The Distric. As a key member of our project development and construction management teams, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and construction of renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the VP Project Development and other team members in delivering small to medium projects in our Ottawa facilities.
  • Support the development of large renewable energy projects, conducting feasibility assessments, technical evaluations, and economic models.
  • Carry out project management tasks, including planning, cost estimating, reporting, contractor selection, and contract management.
  • Represent the company's interests in dealings with customers, clients, sub-contractors, or suppliers.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the corporate Project Development team.
Requirements
  • University degree in engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • Professional Engineering designation or certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a project engineering/management function for capital projects.
  • Project management professional certification through the Project Management Institute is preferred.
  • Renewable natural gas and/or anaerobic digestion experience would be considered an asset.
