Greenhouse Summer Associate

Contract Duration: 4 months (Summer)

Wage: $22 - $30 / hour

This role may be eligible for a one-time summer internship housing stipend

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Greenhouse Summer Associate in Saskatoon, SK.

BASF's Agricultural Solutions division connects innovation, customers, partners and agricultural experts and integrates sustainability criteria into all business decisions.

About the Role
  • Provide assistance to breeding projects to ensure seed quality and quantity for continued use in the Greenhouse and Doubled Haploid programs.
  • Assist with seed cleaning and maintenance of greenhouse plants.
  • Support other department programs as required.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills with the ability to take initiative and work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge or experience in a greenhouse environment and with the general care and maintenance of plants.
  • Problem solving skills, self-motivated.
  • Ability to be flexible and modify plans according to priorities.
