Are you ready to take the next big step in your hospitality career? Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is currently looking for a talented and dynamic Full-Time Storeroom Clerk who shares our passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do

About the role:

The Storeroom Clerk is part of the Purchasing Department whose function is to procure various item utilized by the hotel. Whether they are the perfect pair of slippers or the local markets' freshest fish, the Purchasing Department is responsible for sourcing vendors and ordering and tracking all purchases as well as receiving them - all in a timely manner. The Storeroom Clerk checks all incoming goods (food and non-food items) against delivery invoices, food specifications and purchase records to assure that the type and number of items charged and ordered were received. The Storeroom Clerk also issues food, beverage and non-food goods to appropriate departments based on requisition orders.

What you will do:
  • Complete daily, weekly and month end inventories for food, beverage, groceries and sundries as required.
  • Inspect all goods at delivery entrance of hotel to determine if orders are correct and of good quality.
  • Handle all deliveries of goods to the appropriate departments within the hotel including loading and unloading carts and placing in appropriate storerooms.
  • Ensure loading dock and receiving areas are kept secure, clean and organized.
  • Check and match receiving documents to electronic purchase orders daily to verify price quotations and report any discrepancies to the Purchasing management team.
  • Applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request
  • All other duties as assigned by management
  • Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs

  • Attention to detail and highly organized is critical to the success of this role
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role and environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and multitask
