Key Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Payroll Processing: Process payroll, including calculating salaries, wages, and benefits.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an asset.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.
- Personal Qualities: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
