As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Payroll Processing: Process payroll, including calculating salaries, wages, and benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an asset.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
