Heavy Equipment Operator

We're seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator to join our team in Carp.

Job Summary:

Sets up and operates a variety of equipment, performing work according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operates equipment in compliance with company operating procedures.
  • Verifies equipment is in working order, including tooling and safety mechanisms.
  • Moves and positions raw materials and finished components using material moving equipment.
  • Performs daily maintenance and cleaning activities.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid SIN.

Work Environment:

  • Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity most of the work day.
  • Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds rarely.
  • Normal setting for this job is: shop or field.
