We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at Service Nova Scotia, providing quality service to individual and business customers in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete transactions and provide excellent customer service to customers
  • Scrutinize records, process documents, and apply relevant legislation and policy
  • Issue primary identity documents such as Driver's Licenses and Nova Scotia Identification cards
  • Maintain security/control of public funds and issue and secure control of serial numbered and non-serial numbered inventory
  • Interact with the general public, providing excellent customer service

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School diploma and a minimum of four years of experience in a fast-paced, front line customer service environment
  • Experience in balancing accounts, excellent attention to detail, excellent judgment, strong communication skills, and demonstrated ability to diplomatically deal with the general public
  • Strong data entry and computer skills, high aptitude to acquire, retain, organize and apply policies and procedures, and strong prioritization and problem-solving skills
