Early Childhood Worker
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Education Department is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Worker to join their team at Little Red River Daycare in Little Red River, SK. This is a full-time term position with leave coverage until September 01, 2025.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, development, and well-being of children in their care. This includes:
- Providing direction and guidance to children in a supportive and nurturing environment
- Ensuring children receive well-balanced meals and snacks
- Recording daily reports and journals
- Adhering to the LLRIB Personnel policy manual and Program Policies
- Actively supervising and interacting with children attending the program
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Early Childcare Education- Level 1
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
- Class 5 driver's license
- First Aid/CPR, WHIMIS, and Safe Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Mature, responsible, and punctual
- Capacity to demonstrate a caring attitude
- Patient, caring, loving, compassionate, and enjoy working with children
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Combination of education and experience in childcare setting considered
