EARLY CHILDHOOD WORKER
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Education Department is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Full-Time Term position in the community of Grandmother's Bay, SK. This role is responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take direction and guidance from the Early Childhood Program Supervisor
- Ensure children's safety, development, and well-being are implemented
- Prepare and serve well-balanced meals and snacks
- Record daily reports and journals
- Adhere to the LLRIB Personnel policy manual and Parent Handbook policy
- Actively supervise and interact with children attending the program
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Early Childcare Education- Level 1
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
- Class 5 drivers license
- First Aid, CPR, WHIMIS, and Food Handler's certificate (preferred)
- Mature, responsible, and punctual
- Capacity to demonstrate a caring attitude
- Patient, caring, loving, compassionate, and enjoy working with children
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Combination of education and experience in childcare setting
