EARLY CHILDHOOD WORKER (4)
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Education Department is seeking a qualified individual to join our team at the Mikisiw Awasis Early Learning Centre in La Ronge, SK. As an Early Childhood Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children is nurtured
- Plan, prepare, and serve well-balanced, age-appropriate snacks and meals
- Record daily reports and journals
- Adhere to the LLRIB Personnel policy manual
- Deliver quality programming that supports the development of children
- Supervise and interact with children attending the program
Requirements:
- Early Childcare Education- Level 1
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
- Class 5 driver's license
- 1-2 years' experience in a related field
- First Aid, CPR, WHIMIS, and Food Handler's certificate (preferred)
- Mature, responsible, and punctual
- Demonstrate a caring attitude, patience, and compassion when working with children
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
