The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Education Department is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Early Childhood Program Scheduler at the Mikisiw Awasis Early Learning Centre in La Ronge, SK.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Early Childhood Program
- Ensure adequate staffing and coverage during operational hours
- Coordinate staff breaks and annual leaves
- Provide guidance and direction to staff
- Make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Foster positive relationships with parents, children, and employees
- Support Early Childhood Program principles and philosophies
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Level 3 Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent
- 6 months-2 years of experience in a related field
- Experience using technology and database systems
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid First Aid/CPR, WHIMIS, and Food Safety Handler's Certificate
- Personal experience as a parent or caregiver of infants and/or young children
- Ability to speak/understand Cree and/or knowledge of Cree Culture
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and public relations skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check and Driver's Abstract
