Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse - Travel Medicine

At Passport Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team as a Travel Medicine Professional. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing expert travel health advice and vaccinations to our clients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Registered Practical Nurse with a passion for travel medicine and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Travel Medicine Professional, you will be responsible for reviewing client medical histories, discussing travel health requirements, and administering vaccinations in a safe and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert travel health advice and vaccinations to clients
  • Review client medical histories and discuss travel health requirements
  • Administer vaccinations in a safe and effective manner
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest travel medicine protocols
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Management Team to train new staff
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
Requirements
  • Registered Practical Nurse certification with current license in good standing
  • Previous experience working in travel medicine, either in a private clinic or public health setting
  • Ability to follow medical directives and safely administer vaccines and dispense medications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
