About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team as a Contract Travel Nurse in Ottawa. As a Contract Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of hospital settings, providing high-quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing physical examinations, and collecting patient health history.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Valid RN or RPN license in Ontario.
  • Phlebotomy certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on, post-graduation, nursing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong documentation and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
